I bought this after my seat/seat post were stolen. This might slow down theives. They'd have to carry bolt cutters to steal your seat, and that'd make them sorta comspicuous. I figure this is the best you can hope for on seat protection that is easy enough to use all the time. I hate thieves. Should shoot them, but you can't.
